Jaganmohan Reddy continued his tour of villages flooded by Kundu river for the third day by visiting marooned villages in Chapadu mandal in Proddatur constituency and Duvvur mandal in Mydukur constituency on Wednesday. రైళ్లకూ మొహం వాచిన రాయలసీమ!

అనుకున్నట్లుగానే రైల్వే బడ్జెట్‌లో రాష్ట్రానికి మళ్లీ మొండి చేయి చూపారు. రాష్ట్రానికి చెందిన ముప్పై ముగ్గురు అధికార పార్టీ ఎంపీలు ఉత్సవ విగ్రహాలు గానే మిగిలారు. లాలూప్రసాద్ బాటలోనే మమతాబెనర్జీ కూడా తెలుగు ప్రజల ఉనికిని ఏ మాత్రం లెక్కచేయలేదు. రెండు కొత్త రైళ్లను, రెండు రైళ్ల పొడి గింపును, కొత్త రైలు లైన్ల నిర్మాణానికి మూడు చిన్నా చితక ప్రతిపాదనలనూ, ఒక డబ్లింగ్ పనినీ, ఒక విద్యుద్దీకరణనూ, ఒక గేజ్ మార్పిడి పనినీ ఆంధ్ర ప్రజలకు విదిల్చారు. సికింద్రాబాద్, తిరుపతిలను అంతర్జాతీయ స్థాయి రైల్వే స్టేషన్లుగా మారుస్తామని, మరో మూడుస్టేషన్లను ఆదర్శంగా తీర్చిదిద్దుతామని మమత శెలవి చ్చారు. రైల్వే సౌకర్యాల విషయంలో రాష్ట్రంలో దారుణంగా వెనుకబడిన ప్రాంతం రాయలసీమ ప్రాంతం కాగా బడ్జెట్‌లో సీమకే తీవ్ర అన్యాయం జరిగింది. బడ్జెట్‌లో అరకొరగా జరిగిన మేలు కూడా కోస్తా, తెలంగాణా ప్రాంతాలకే పరిమితం అయ్యింది. రాయలసీమను నట్టేటముంచారు. విజ'ప్తులు బుట్టదాఖలే. సీమలో రైలుమార్గాల అభివృదికి, సౌకర్యాలకోసం నిధులను కేటాయించాలని కోరుతూ వైఎస్. జగన్‌మోహన్‌రెడ్డి, కేంద్ర రైల్వేమంత్రి మమతాబెనర్జీని జూన్ 9న ఢిల్లీలో కలిసి వినతిపత్రం సమర్పించారు. అయితే ఈ కోరికలను మమత పెడచెవిన పెట్టారు. పూర్తి వివరాలు...

YSR cautions people

KADAPA: The Telugu Desam Party will scrap all the projects of the area and welfare schemes, including Rajiv Arogyasri, scholarships to poor students, Rs. 2-a-kg. rice scheme and pensions, etc.  if it gains power, Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy said on Sunday. TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu had disapproved of welfare schemes in his nine-year rule and scrapped the ongoing schemes, the Chief Minister said while addressing a series of ‘jaithra yatra’ public meetings at Kodur, Rajampet, Rayachoti, Kamalapuram, Yerraguntla, Proddatur and Mydukur. Kadapa: In a move to restore the pristine glory of religious and historic places in Kadapa district, Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy sanctioned Rs. 27.70 crore to develop 19 historic and religious places in Kadapa district into tourism spots               Proposals were sent by the district collector to the Chief Minister Dr. Y.S.Rajasekhar Reddy,for forwarding to the Central Government requests for allotment of funds.
